Penny Auction Forums and Review Sites

I’d like to put a question out here, for some of you to offer your suggestions. I know you’ll come through for me!

I know there are several penny auction forums and review sites out there, but the only one I’m very familiar with is Amanda’s site. She’s got a fairly active group over there, and does a super job of keeping people informed of what’s going on in the PA niche.

But I’m sure there are others, too, that some of you might be able to recommend. So, please, if you know of any that offer any of the following, post a link in the comments and share it with the rest of us.

These are a few of the things I thought of that a penny auction forum can offer:

A place to get to know other bidders that you may meet on different PA sites;
Someplace to learn about techniques, terminology and strategies;
Someplace to hear about the newest and hottest penny auction sites;
Someplace to read reviews and impressions of PA sites from other bidders;
A place to share your experiences and reviews of PA sites with others;
A friendly environment for some back-and-forth with others that share your interests.

There are probably other benefits to be gained from participating in PA forums, but those are the ones that occurred to me.

I know when I first got this “gig”, I was a total newbie! I didn’t have any idea how a penny auction site worked or even that they existed! Alain taught me a lot, of course, but I also learned a lot from hanging out elsewhere and just reading what other bidders had to say.

Finally, I started visiting some PA sites and as you can imagine, it wasn’t long before I couldn’t resist buying some bids and trying it out. Once I had my first win under my belt, I was hooked!

Reading reviews and comments about other penny auction sites was really helpful to me in learning how to act and how to bid intelligently (well… reasonably intelligently, anyway). And I keep doing it, because there’s always something new going on.

So, how about you? Any other benefits you can think of? Other PA forums or review sites that you can share with us? It’s to everyone’s advantage to help the rest be well informed of news, tactics and styles… it makes for a more enjoyable bidding experience for everyone.

I’d love to see the comments here provide a big list of places to visit.
