BidCity Attempts to Misdirect PennyBurners Users to Their Site

 

 

Not too long ago, BidCity.com was caught re-directing PennyPerks traffic to their site by the use of "PennyPerks.co".

It's a sleazy, unethical way to gain more traffic to one's site by taking off the "m" in ".com" so that when someone types the original site name in incorrectly, instead of receiving an error, it re-directs them to another site.

Today, we discovered that BidCity.com is at it again; this time, with "PennyBurners.co"!

We have placed phone calls and messages with the BidCity Team, asking them to immediately stop the use of "PennyBurners.co".

Please be wary of businesses and people that utilize sleazy methods such as this; when you are dishonest in one area of your life or business, you are usually dishonest in others.
