You may soon be able to place bids on a penny auction from your computer or your cell phone.

From a recent Press Release:
"On the Move Systems Corp. announced today that the company is in talks with Texas entrepreneur regarding the potential development of a new mobile penny auction app for tablets and smartphones.
The groundbreaking application would take the highly successful business model employed by sites such as QuiBids.com and Beezid.com mobile, offering bidders the chance to win exciting merchandise from anywhere in the world. OMVS is developing the concept of a mobile penny auction concept focusing on American-made products, promoting U.S. jobs and brand recognition."
While many bidders already place bids from their tablets and smartphones, this is usually a practice that bidders implement in an emergency (i.e., an auction is ending and they're not near a computer), and that is not fail-proof. (See: Beezid Auction Loss = Win?)
Would a dedicated mobile app for penny auction bidding revolutionize the industry as we know it? What is the likelihood of such an app being embraced by the community?
