If I had to guess I would say there were a few reasons. But these are just my opinions.
1) Lack of traffic
2) Lack of advertising
3) Lack of auctions
4) Ending prices of auctions were at retail and provided no return on investment for members
The people who ran it were very nice and responded to emails quickly. I just think they didn't have the financial backing to risk auctioning off items that they wouldn't be able to ship.
My hats off to them though. They only listed auctions if they had the item on hand to ship.
If you didn't get the email I am posting it below. It's to bad were losing another site. They were good people.
Dear Members
Due to uncontrollable circumstances we will be closing BidBally.com
Our last day will be April 7th.
Along with the live auctions we will be listing additional products to allow members to deplete their bids.
Rest assured all won items will be delivered to our winners
We'd like to thank all members who supported us.
Deepest regrets
Bidbally Team

Hi Kelly,
First of all welcome to PennyBurners!!!!
BidBally.com is a great place for newbies. Buy their $15.00 bid pack (compliments from PennyBurners) and the rest of your bids you can collect just from winning their bid pack auctions that usually sell for a few cents.
I'm not an affiliate nor do I make anything by sending you there. I just like their site.
dude if you had a brain you would be stupid so what site dont i win on if you look up me and all the sites im on im in there hall of fame in almost every one.everyone that i have found to look funny are all closed up
You do have a good track record of spotting the sites that are in trouble. I'll give you that. My only point here Rexter65 was that we shouldn't pass judgement on a site without playing there first. And in this thread you politely said that you would pass and I respected that answer. I just think there is so much "bad" publicity about sites out there that when it's not warranted people should refrain from negative comments.
And I do apologize for saying I don't respect your opinion. I do respect it. Your one of the "old" dogs out there and my comment was inappropriate. Hope you accept my appology. :thumbup2:
Are we cool?
All we can say, is that thus far the people behind BidCandy seem to be very professional, and have a long history of online business with a large team to support BidCandy and those businesses.
That's my exact point.
hey autobidbot you came and said the same thing about fatbidz and all the new bidder that posted how great the site was were are they now what happen to the site they were going to come up with proof and that never happen it my money and i will spend it were i want but with the way the sites are closing and you see the bidding patterns on some of these new sites you try it and let us no how that works out for you
I didn't have an opinion on Fatbidz nor did I defend them. What I did do was defend you when PAScript attacked the way you post. I also stated that your opinion does not carry a lot of weight with me because what I have found is historically if your not winning on a site you tend to be more critical about them.
My post on Fatbidz had nothing to do with the site at all.
Today, Penny Auctions? Are they a "White Mans Sport"? This sounds stupid but at work today I was talking with a co-worker who is African American about penny auctions. I asked him if he has every tried playing. He looked at me like I was stupid and said, "Man, my money is funny, that sounds like some stupid ass pass time shit to me." He went on and said that he doesn't know any friends or family who have ever played. FML.
